These codes can be used to unlock new characters, for example Admiral Holdo. You can also unlock ships that can be used during the space combat gameplay section. There are 19 total characters and ships that you can unlock using this method, and each requires a Datacard to obtain and a varying amount of studs in order to activate.
Like previous LEGO video games, you can find these Datacards by searching them across the galaxy. Each Datacard has a gold glow, making it easy to identify. You’ll need to stop the game to enter a cheat code. Select the ‘Enter Code” option from the menu to pause. Enter one of the codes below to unlock a ship or character, or even an item. Certain codes unlock unique “holiday” versions of well-known characters, such as Darth Vader wearing his Christmas sweater. These codes will last as long as the code is used prior to when you leave the pause menu, and then return to the main game.
